Carole Da-Cruz was raised amidst a family of antique dealers in Cannes, on the picturesque French Riviera. Her adventurous spirit brought her to the vibrant city of Los Angeles in the early 90s. 

Carole's innate passion in creating art with various mediums blossomed, and led her to an enriching apprenticeship in the intricate art of 'decorative painting.' 

Infused with her European sensitivity and an innovative approach to her craft, she established The French Brush - a distinguished decorative painting studio - in 1998. Her love and dedication to the realm of creative expression continues to drive her artistic journey forward with boundless enthusiasm.

Carole is a foodie and loves the outdoors. When she is not painting, you may find her enjoying various activities like rock-climbing, playing beach volleyball, gardening, shopping at her local farmer's market, and dancing at live events!
